As reported by Radio World, the number of FM noncommercial educational stations in the United States is at an all-time high - outnumbering AM stations in the country.
The FCC reports that the category of FM educational stations jumped UP by 191 last year and by 270 over the past two years - bringing the total to 4,477 NCE FMs, which is more than twice as many as there were at the turn of the 21st century.
